Divination and Dowsing

Divination and dowsing are used to connect to and interpret energy which may or may not include communicating with spirit beings. The healing tools which fall within the divination and dowsing spectrum, may help you to discover and make sense of yourself physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually as you navigate through your experiences in the world. While divination is an ancient art with a long and varied history, it has been popularized through one of its uses, predicting the future.

Divination takes many forms. It is any practice where the practitioner is interpreting energy or acting as a channel for energy or spirit beings. This may happen through casting runes or bones, channeling, reading of auric fields, and also using cards (e.g. tarot, oracle, angel) as a means of communicating with different energies. A channeler, also known as a medium, may speak directly to or have an energy or spirit speak through them.

Dowsing is also a form of divination and uses tools such as the pendulum, divining rods, or plumb and bobber to read the energy of the earth or people. This method has been used for thousands of years. Dowsing is one of the most well-known and accepted forms of divination. Still today, the common folk practice of dowsing to find water is used to establish wells or bore holes.
